  Position Summary

 

The Production Manager overseas the daily operations of the manufacturing facility. They plan, coordinate, and direct all the activities that go into the production process. They manage the labor, equipment and methods of the production process; in a manner that allows them to meet departmental and corporate objectives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic planning, capital expenditure, budgeting, goal setting, resource and team
  • Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual performance
  • Plans and establishes work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity.
  • Support the S&OP process by providing input to manufacturing schedules at the weekly
  • Manage the team to achieve site revenue objectives. Resolve obstacles which may cause delays in shipping product as
  • Manage product quality objectives along with customer satisfaction
  • Create, implement, maintain, and communicate key performance indicators (KPI’s)
  • Analyze and use KPI data for continuous improvements and process
  • Mentor, lead, manage, train and motivate subordinates in the day to day performance of their job and career growth

  Qualifications

  • Strong decision making and results driven approach
  • Inspire and lead team members to achieve departmental objectives
  • Lead by example and manage team in a professional manner and as a representative of the management team. Establish expectations and hold team
  • 4 year degree preferred with required 5 years prior manufacturing management/leadership role
  • Thorough understanding of ERP, planning tools and other production software
  • Adept at knowledgeable in the equipment used in production of printed circuit board assemblies is a plus
  • Ability to manage medium/low volume, high mix product lines on a daily basis
  • Prior EMSI experience and lean/six sigma knowledge is a plus
